Why is my car bouncing up and down?

Why is my car bouncing up and down?

Suspension Issues: Problems with your car’s suspension system can lead to bouncing. This could be due to worn-out shock absorbers, struts, or other suspension components. If these are not functioning properly, they can’t effectively absorb the bumps and shocks from the road.    Tire issues: Uneven tire wear, low tire pressure, or imbalanced tires can cause your vehicle to bounce. Ensure that your tires are properly inflated and have even tread wear. If the tires are out of balance, it can also contribute to bouncing.    Alignment Issues: Improper wheel alignment can result in uneven tire wear and cause your vehicle to bounce. If the wheels are not aligned properly, it can affect how the tires interact with the road surface.   Damaged Springs: The springs in your vehicle’s suspension system help absorb shocks. If these springs are damaged or worn out, it can lead to bouncing.    Worn Bushings or Bearings: Bushings and bearings ... read more

What is the difference between the air filter and cabin air filter?

What is the difference between the air filter and cabin air filter?

What is the difference between an air filter and cabin air filter?  An air filter is a screen that essentially removes solid particles that can be harmful to humans. Particles such as dust, powder, pollen, mold, fibers, and germs. It cleans the air to be breathable and odor free for the driver of the vehicle. We recommend an air filter to be changed out every 15,000 miles to keep the air in the vehicle healthy to breathe.  You may be thinking; does my vehicle even have a cabin air filter? Not all vehicles are equipped with a cabin air filter. The cabin air filter gets rid of contaminants that are pumped into the cabin with the fans running. We recommend the cabin air filter to be changed out once a year and have a visual inspection completed every 5,000 miles.
